Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to kids in need. It also offers free cycling classes to refugee women. A selection of restored cycles is available to buy at discounted prices. This helps the charity continue its work. Between 2013 and 2021, an incredible 8,842 refugees and asylum seekers received a free cycle, while 4,352 bikes were sold. A total of 565 women accessed free cycling lessons. We have lots of fun activities plannned, including a silent auction, Cool Bike Contest (win a prize!) repurposed bike part carnival games, bike tune ups, crafts and activities, music by DJ Mahay, food by La Reyna Del Sur, and more!
