I'm very new to this and I made the mistake of buying a Polaroid One-Step 600 without flash built-in. I've been looking at some posts that say that it should work fine without the flash but the photos come out too dark. However, the one I bought came with a package of film, and it doesn't take pictures anyways.It may end up taking a few years to get that bad in most cases, but sun exposure can definitely fade your Polaroids in a very noticeable way.
